Welcome to the
Canadian Inquisition Trivia League
A truly challenging face-to-face trivia experience, the Canadian Inquisition Trivia League is a league of teams who compete Monday nights at various Toronto pubs. The Inquisition League has been operating in Toronto for more than 30 years, and – post-pandemic – is rebooted, rebuilding and adding new teams.
Canada’s most eclectic league – run by the players – the Inquisition League’s ranks have included journalists, techs, editors, students, academics, comics, musicians, authors and others looking to test their trivia knowledge and have a few laughs.

Games are on Monday nights at 7:30 at various pubs in the downtown area. You’re welcome to drop by and say hello. No shouting out answers!!

Winter 2026 schedules

Ch-ch-changes
a) a fee of $10 will be applied to Games 1 and 10. All other games will continue at $5.
b) the Prenup Pub will be closing in February. As of Game 5 it will be replaced by Sin and Redemption at 136 McCaul St. (at Dundas, nearest station: St. Patrick)
c) due to scheduling conflicts, the Final will be held on SUNDAY March 29 @ the Tranzac, @ 5:00 – YES 5:00!
d) the Zero, Stinker and Canadiana prizes will be brought back this season BUT for the overall league – not by division (ie. only one prize for each will be given out).
This winter season, TTC has been relegated, Usual Suspects promoted and Unnatural Axxxe are setting questions.

Winter 2025 Final round up
The sea was angry that day, my friends. But the Usual Suspects sailed to victory!
Not too often that the Jaworski Division team wins the finals but the Usual Suspects had control of the game all the way through. The Mods who came in having won 9 of the 10 regular season games came in a solid third!
On the other hand, each team had a high scorer, all with 5 deuces:
- Bob of the Mods
- Marjorie of MI5, and
- Mark of the Suspects
Also a nod to Ralph of the Mods, who got 4 deuces while playing just 5 rounds in the latter half.
And finally, the Audience prize went to Smith and Guessin’.
