Canadian Inquisition Trivia League
A truly challenging face-to-face trivia experience (now in its 40th year – we think), the Canadian Inquisition Trivia League is a league of teams who compete Monday nights at various Toronto pubs. The Inquisition League has been operating in Toronto for almost 40 years, and – post-pandemic – is rebooted, rebuilding and adding new teams.
Canada’s most eclectic league – run by the players – the Inquisition League’s ranks have included journalists, techs, editors, students, academics, comics, musicians, authors and others looking to test their trivia knowledge and have a few laughs.

This season is brought to you byThe Bloor Street Irregulars
Fall 2026 schedules are out.
Some notes from the Captains’ meeting:
- the Irregulars promise to abide by the Mel and Bradshaw rule (what’s that, you say? see the League Rules – B2)
- the Irregulars also promise not to use AI to make up the questions.
- reserve funds are looking good – $733 in the pot, meaning that ALL games this season will be $5.
- the Final will be held on December 15 at the Tranzac.
Captains! Updated Subs list is out (thank you Lisa). Use it!! Subs will get more involved if they’re more involved (if you know what I mean).
Toronto Trivia Commission has been promoted. MI5 has been relegated (as per the results of Winter 2026 season). Bloor St Irregs are, of course, setting Qs this season.

Summer 2026 Final - July 10
For the second time in just three seasons, the Jaworski division contender has come out on top!
Congratulations Toronto Trivia Commission!
Powerhouses Smith and Guessin’ and What She Said kept it interesting throughout the whole game but in the end, TTC was victorious (thanks in part to a perfect 10 in the Sports round).
And where were the other major players – the Mods? The Irregulars? Chowing down on their chicken from the audience. It just wasn’t their season – although congrats to the Irregulars for winning the Audience prize.
Congrats to Darcy of S&G for the high score of 7 deuces PLUS a steal in the challenge round.
